Our £12.50 Full English brings together Owen Taylor’s country sausage, bacon, black pudding, mushroom, grilled tomato, baked beans, a hash brown, your choice of egg and white or granary toast.
It’s the sort of breakfast you make plans around. A catch-up with a friend becomes “shall we go for a full English?” and suddenly your morning looks considerably better.

Feeling a little fancy? There’s an egg for that
You don’t need a special occasion to order something lovely for breakfast. Sometimes getting everyone out of the house on time is achievement enough.
Our Eggs Benedict pairs toasted sourdough with home cooked ham, poached eggs and chive hollandaise. If smoked salmon is more your thing, choose Eggs Royal, served with poached eggs and the same chive hollandaise on toasted sourdough.
Then there’s the dependable pleasure of eggs on toast. Simple, satisfying and particularly enjoyable when somebody else is making them.
The breakfast sandwich fan club
Some people study a breakfast menu carefully. Others spot the words “bacon sandwich” and consider the matter settled.
We respect both approaches.
Our breakfast sandwiches come on white or granary bloomer bread, filled with your choice of Owen Taylor’s country sausage, grilled back bacon or vegan sausages. You can add a fried egg, too.

A lighter start, with time to linger
Breakfast out doesn’t have to mean the biggest plate on the menu.
Our Fruit & Nut Granola combines toasted oats, nuts and dried fruit with fresh milk, yoghurt and fruit compote. There’s also a warm croissant with strawberry jam, or white or granary toast with butter and preserves.
Add a latte, cappuccino or pot of tea, and you’ve got a lovely excuse to sit down for a while.
Whether you’re catching up on everybody’s news or simply enjoying ten minutes without being asked where somebody’s shoes are, a slower start can be a very good thing.
